Barcoding of aquatic organisms: The Israeli Barcoding aquatic center is the first initative
of barcoding in Israel.
Our barcoding database includes three local aquatic zones:

BIM - Barcode of the Israeli mediterranean marine shore, deep
sea, aberasion platforms, sandy and rocky beaches.

BOK - Barcode of Kinneret lahe micro/macro algae and fish
Galilee lake.

SIRS - Barcoding of the Scleractinians corals of the Red Sea.
